‘President Trump and the Constitution,’ lecture by Wolf Hoppe

Wolf Hoppe, an adjunct professor of law, will lecture on “President Trump and the Constitution,” 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, in RVUUF’s Great Hall. Hoppe’s presentation is co-sponsored by RVUUF’s Social Justice and Action Committee, with the Mountain Meadows Democrats Plus Club.

Laundry Love is third-Sunday recipient for June 2017

“Laundry Love,” which has an effort in Ashland, Oregon, will be the recipient of the third-Sunday offering, this Sunday, June 18, at RVUUF. RVUUF member, Martha de Aquino and United Church of Christ member, Laurie Carter will speak about their volunteer experience with Laundry Love each month.

‘Socks Plus’ kits for homeless adults

These kits of socks, energy bars and personal care items, were assembled last Sunday by RVUUF’s Religious Explorations youth. The kits will be distributed to adults at Ashland’s Pioneer Hall homeless shelter, which is operated by RVUUF in partnership with Temple Emek Shalom. Cynthia M.
