Ministerial Discretionary Fund distributes $4,000
During the fifth Sunday of a month, the offering that is collected, goes to the Ministerial Discretionary Fund. During the most recent fifth Sunday, Oct. 29, givers’ generous contributions provided $547.

Religious Explorations, child pick-up reminder
RVUUF’s Religious Explorations program reminds parents and caregivers: Pick-up time for children 7 and younger is usually by 11:45 a.m., or 15 minutes after the service ends. Artists’ reception after service this Sunday
A reception takes place after the service on Sunday, Oct. 29, for Dave Baker and Robert Block-Brown, who are currently displaying their work in the RVUUF gallery. Attendees are welcome to enjoy a piece of cake and visit with the artists about their work.
‘Circle Dinner’ hosts lined up through March
Eighty-seven guests and many hosts have signed up for RVUUF’s “Circle Dinners” so far. There were two Circle Dinners in September with two more set for October, according to an update in this week’s “News to Note.”
