Meet the people who work in classrooms and behind the scenes in Religious Explorations at RVUUF.

Claudia Cervantes works in the nursery (ages 0 to 3).

Marla Dentino

Marla Dentino rotates every other week teaching the early-childhood class for 3- to 5-year-olds. Marla has taught at RVUUF on-and-off for many years, following its many transitions, and has given many dedicated hours of service especially to the R.E. program.

Inga Leed

Inga Leed

Inga Leed rotates every other week teaching the early-childhood class for 3- to 5-year-olds. Inga and her daughters, Clover and Ariana, became members of RVUUF in 2012. She has a Master’s in Early Childhood Special Education and currently works with young children.

Inga is excited to help RVUUF’s children expand their perceptions of themselves, each other, and the interdependent web in which we all live through consistency, nurturance, music, movement, and child-centered play.

Aleyda Mark
Aleyda Mark

Aleyda Mark

Aleyda Mark teaches the early-elementary class for ages 6 to 9. She was born in Peru and has a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Master’s degree in Tropical Forest Management. She has lived in Southern Oregon for about nine years and works as an instructional assistant at Talent Elementary and as a field instructor for Klamath Outdoor Science School. A mother of two young boys, Aleyda is excited to be part of the community at RVUFF.

Liz Bianco

Liz Bianco

Liz Bianco teaches upper-elementary to high-school students, ages 9 and older, and helps facilitate RVUUF’s teen youth group for ages 12 to 16. She also serves as lead teacher for the Religious Explorations program.

Liz is inspired by connecting children with nature, divine love, active service, self-awareness, peace and equality. She has a B.A. degree in Peace and Conflict Studies and training in counseling. She has created and led programs for children in gardening on her own and other local farms and in various school gardens.

Liz teaches sign language at Willow Wind community learning center as well as co-facilitates girls’ empowerment circles. Liz’s experience includes running a preschool out of her home as well as guiding and counseling children/ teens in the wilderness and teaching hands on learning and art.

Mikayla Mattocks

Mikayla Mattocks

Mikayla Mattocks is a college student at Southern Oregon University studying Theatre, and double minoring in Musical Theater and Shakespeare Studies. She enjoys doing theater for the community, and believes that education and theatre go hand in hand. She assists the RE teachers with their classes, and makes sure everyone has what they need. She also helps Liz with the Youth Group here at RVUUF. In her free time, Mikayla loves playing games (D&D, computer games, and board games), hiking, and singing. She also loves animals and reading.
