RVUUF’s Fellowship Fun Committee will host the annual intergenerational welcome-back luncheon, 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 10.
The RVUUF Choir begins a new year with its first rehearsal on Wednesday, Sept. 6. “Now is a great time to join this lively group of music-makers. MEN are especially encouraged.” Rehearsals take place from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesdays in RVUUF’s Great Hall. “Come out and make a joyful noise!”

Rev. Sean Parker Dennison’s first sermon with RVUUF as its new developmental minister will be on Sunday, Sept. 19. This coincides with the annual Water Communion, a Unitarian Universalist tradition.
Here’s a look at services taking place in September 2017. Services take place at 10:30 a.m. each Sunday in RVUUF’s Great Hall. Gathering music begins at 10:25 a.m.
On Saturday, Aug. 12, 2017 the RVUUF Board met and unanimously approved the Search Committee’s unanimous decision to hire Rev. Sean Parker Dennison as RVUUF’s Developmental Minister. Board president Jim Meckel announced the decision during the Sunday, Aug. 13 service, and Rev. Sean will observe office hours at RVUUF, beginning Tuesday, Sept. 12.

RVUUF has received several inquiries from members asking if the Ministerial Discretionary Fund is being continued in the absence of an employed minister, and the answer is, “a resounding YES!”
A “Unitarian Universalism”-themed book sale takes place under the balcony after the service on Sunday, Aug. 13. The books were donated by Rev. Nan L. White when she was preparing to leave. Prices are $2 for hardcover and $1 for softcover books.
