Twice a year, fall and spring, RVUUF offers orientation classes that include three important areas. The next series of classes begin Sept. 24, 2017.

  • Sept. 24 – Principles of Unitarian Universalism
  • Oct. 1 – History of Unitarian Universalism and RVUUF
  • Oct. 8 – Path to RVUUF

Each class is offered to help anyone get a better understanding of Unitarian Universalism in general, and RVUUF specifically.

To become a member of RVUUF everyone is encouraged to attend all three classes, especially if you are new to Unitarian Universalism.

If you have been a UU elsewhere, we encourage you to take the Path to Membership class as it informs you about RVUUF — including how we govern and suggested ways for you to get integrated into the congregation.

Each class will take place from noon to 1 p.m. The location will be determined, based on the size of class. RSVP to Colleen Chambers via RVUUF’s contact form.

If nursery care is needed to attend these classes, please notify Religious Explorations Lead Teacher Liz Bianco.

The Oct. 15 service will include a new member ceremony. New members will sign the Membership book and be welcomed into the life of RVUUF.
