Ashland’s Pioneer Hall homeless shelter will open in mid-November, and RVUUF’s Religious Explorations youth will assemble kits of useful items for the adults who will be sheltered there. Scott Engel has been hired as RVUUF’s sexton, a position that includes custodial duties and repairs to the buildings as needed. He has worked since last January in a temporary capacity and is happy to be working for RVUUF.
