Each August, RVUUF offers a multi-generational camp weekend experience at Camp Latgawa, located at 13250 South Fork Little Butte Creek Road in Eagle Point, Oregon. (RVUUF rents use of the venue from the Oregon-Idaho Conference of the United Methodist Church and the Episcopal Diocese of Oregon.) In 2016, RVUUF’s family camp will be from Aug. 19 to 21. Use RVUUF’s contact form to request more information about attending Camp Latgawa, including scholarships available to families who want to attend, but cannot afford Camp Latgawa.
This week’s meeting of Humanism Explorations has been cancelled because many of its members will be at RVUUF’s “Camp Latgawa” family camp. The next meeting will be Sept. 6, and the topic will probably be “The World without Work” from the July-Aug. issue of The Atlantic (formerly the Atlantic Monthly).
