Members Engage With RVUUF on Breeze

This year, RVUUF began using Breeze, a new online database and directory. Members and friends have access to contact information that individuals have chosen to make public, as well as contact info for RVUUF groups and committees (find groups by by viewing “Tags” in the Breeze system and clicking the name of the group you’d like to contact, or type the name of the group in the search bar). Breeze also allows us to print a paper directory from the info in the system, so we’ve been trying to get photos uploaded for as many members & friends as possible, in the hopes that our next paper directory can help us put names to faces. Below, find some Breeze action items based on your level of participation with Breeze so far:

  • I’ve never accessed Breeze. How do I do that?  The login page for Breeze is found HERE. If you’ve never had an account created for you, visit THIS PAGE to get set up. If you’ve forgotten your Username or Password, visit THIS PAGE to request a re-set. If you still can’t get access to Breeze, EMAIL US so we can get it sorted out.
  • My Breeze account doesn’t have my picture! Professional photographer and RVUUFian and professional photographer Paul Vozdic took photos for many RVUUFians for Breeze this fall. If you want to add your own photo to Breeze, Paul has generously offered to receive your photo via email, edit and resize it for optimal viewing in Breeze, and send it on to RVUUF’s Admin Assistant Alison to be uploaded into the system. Please feel free to email a photo to Paul by clicking HERE.
  • I can’t figure out how to get the information I need from Breeze. Please EMAIL US so we can determine if what you want to do is possible, and set up a training to help us figure out how to do it!
  • There’s some incorrect information in Breeze that I can’t fix myself. Please EMAIL US so we can take care of making corrections.
  • I’m a committee/group leader who needs to contact all the folks in my group via email. Google Groups has been a wonderful tool for group communications at RVUUF, and we wish to thank our Tech Committee and Super Admins, Conrad & John, for doing such an amazing job setting up and managing these lists for us for so long. We are moving forward with the plan to use Breeze for group communications, as lists can be easily managed by group leaders with very little training. This makes adding/removing folks from lists instantaneous, and frees up our tech volunteers for more complex tasks. Office Admin Dawn will provide training to group leaders to help you get comfortable with the system.

Please contact Dawn or Alison with any questions or to set up a time to get some Breeze training. Thank you!
