Your Neighborhood Team: The Best Way to Meet People at RVUUF!

(Updated November 2024)

Joining a Neighborhood Team is a great way to easily get to know people at RVUUF who live near you. Each Sunday, one of the five neighborhood teams provides support – and snacks – for the service. These volunteers serve as greeters, ushers, and Religious Explorations classroom volunteers. They also bring refreshments for after the service, make coffee, set-up and clean-up.

Since there are 5 teams, each neighborhood serves only once every 5 weeks. How often and what you choose to do to help is always up to you. We encourage everyone to try it out, and to support RVUUF in this way. Getting to know the RVUUFians in your area can be helpful and friendly. If you find it doesn’t work for you, it’s easy to be removed from a list.
