Through an odd sequence of events, I drove around for several days recently with a toilet in the back of my car. In case that wasn’t embarrassing enough, the order fulfillment folks at Home Depot had slapped a giant orange label with my name on it for all to see. Fortunately, the toilet was cleared out and the car was cleaned fresh as a daisy before Thursday, when RVUUF volunteers brought their contributions for our vegetable masala to dump (pardon the pun) into a commercial size pot (cooking pot) in my car. Each volunteer brought 4-5 pounds of a single vegetable, cooked and then covered with a jar of masala sauce. We mixed them together to create a culinary masterpiece in the back of my car.
