On Sunday, Jan. 20, RVUUF’s third-Sunday recipient will be the Family Nurturing Center. Lisa O’Connor, the executive director, will speak about the work this organization does.

The Family Nurturing Center is a relief nursery for the Rogue Valley (Jackson County and Josephine County). Its purpose is to prevent child abuse and neglect. The center serves vulnerable families with young children, providing support “via therapeutic early childhood experience, home visitation program, mental health services, family stabilization and care coordination, parent education, respite, emergency support, and advocacy.”
