The Social Justice and Action (SJA) Committee is accepting proposals for next year’s offering list. Third-Sunday recipients must be a 501(c)(3), they must be local to Rogue Valley, the donation must be needed (that is, the organization doesn’t get lots of money from a parent organization), and the organization must directly affect the lives of people. One offering each year is taken for the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee, and one is taken for an international organization, but SJ&A wants “most of our generosity to stay here and help our neighbors.” If you have an organization you would like to propose for next year’s offering list, please use RVUUF’s contact form to connect with Diane Werich.
