RVUUF’s new mission is brief and powerful, especially when you have an understanding of each word that makes up the mission, which is, to “Embrace Diversity, Empower Connection, Engage in the Work.”

The Sunday, Sept. 18 service begins RVUUF’s dive into the words of the new mission statement, beginning with the first word, “Embrace,” to discover what it might mean. Rev. White’s sermon title is “Mission with Meaning: ‘Embrace.’”

Following the service, Rev. White will teach a class on the Unitarian Universalist Principles from noon to 1 p.m. in the RVUUF library. All are invited to attend.
