Nov. 6: Reflections on ‘Defying the Nazis: The Sharps’ War’
Reflections on “Defying the Nazis: The Sharps’ War,” and how we, as Unitarian Universalists will respond to the ongoing genocide and the still emerging Refugee Crisis of 2016. Nov. 20: Passing on the Story: Which Parts?
Founders Day Celebration remembering 63 years of RVUUF’s existence and honoring the founders of the Rogue Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship. Rev. White’s sermon title is “Passing on the Story: Which Parts?” The third-Sunday offering will go to United Oregon.
Nov. 27: Remembering the Heart of the Heretic
The aftermath of the election, no matter who won, calls us to look back on the political teachings of Jesus to address how to move forward as a country. After all, the Unitarian Universalist movement was born out of Christianity’s teachings of Jesus including the Beatitudes and the Golden Rule. Rev. White will speak about the political teachings of Jesus, remembering the heart of the heretic.
