Here’s a look at services taking place in June 2016. Services take place at 10:30 a.m. each Sunday in RVUUF’s Great Hall. Gathering music begins at 10:25 a.m.
June 5: “Delights and Duties of Leadership”
This service will include a Service of Installation of the new Board. Rev. Nan L. White’s sermon title is “Delights and Duties of Leadership.
June 12: “Questions answered. Maybe”
Rev. White will answer your questions, within certain parameters. Submit a question about anything religious, spiritual or church related. (For convenience, you can use the Minister Contact Form). Only one question can be asked per person and depending on how many questions she receives will depend on whether all questions get answered. The deadline to submit your question to Rev. White is May 31. If no questions are asked it will be a very short service and we’ll head to the annual picnic that follows this service.
June 19: “What it takes to be a good UU?”
Last November an auction item for sale was a sermon written by Rev. White on a topic of the buyer’s choice. Marcia Sandler won the auction item and has requested a sermon on “What it takes to be a good UU?”
June 26: “The Gift of Personal Sharing”
Members of RVUUF’s men’s groups will share how their participation in these groups has enriched their personal lives.
