Yes, I contribute my talent, time and money to RVUUF but I receive so much more in return. I think the most important function of a faith community is to care for every member. I want all the people coming to RVUUF seeking community to feel cherished.

The RVUUF community feels more like my family than did my family of origin. As a child, I didn’t experience my family as emotionally or spiritually supportive, but I find this support at RVUUF.

The year 2017 brought me some health challenges. This congregation supported me with visits, phone calls, food, and transportation. I have felt loved and cared for.

How fortunate we are to have a community that supports us especially when our path is rocky and steep; an experience we all will have at some time. We are truly blessed to be surrounded by people who empower us to realize our potential; people who care for all living things and Mother Earth.
