Head to the Ashland Plaza this Saturday, April 19 (tomorrow!) from 4 to 5 p.m. for a demonstration with music, chanting, and storytelling.
Look for RVUUF friends and enjoy the camaraderie while taking a stand for democracy. Or if you want to get a few steps on a beautiful spring afternoon, meet at the front door of RVUUF at 3:40 for a short walk to the plaza together. We’ll leave at 3:45. It’s 1/2 mile and Google estimates 11 minutes to walk.
Make a sign if you can. Here are a few suggestions:
- Bring home Kilmar Abrego Garcia
- No Dictators in a Democracy
- Respect the Constitution
Or bring a sign from your last protest!
Jessica Craven’s Tuesday newsletter Chop Wood, Carry Water included a graphic saying, “The antidote to despair is action.”
Here are some RVUUF social activists at the Hands Off Rally last month in Medford.
