Since Summer 2022 the Ukrainian refugee community in the Rogue Valley has grown to over 40 people made up of 13 families from a wide variety of areas in Ukraine. UUA immediately published statements of support for those fleeing the war. My motherline heritage is Ukrainian. In 1997 I spent two weeks living and doing research in central Ukraine. The war has had a particular impact on Ukrainian women. During our service we will hear their personal stories. How can we as UU’s respond to this situation?
