Surprises in the Constitution

Our Constitution didn’t spring into existence fully formed. It was the product of compromise, shaped by the challenges and limitations of its time. As we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, we explored some surprising facts about the nation’s founding, discovered how the Constitution has changed over the past 250 years, and considered what it still has to teach us today. Drawing on insights from the Ashland Constitution Study Group, the service included a collection for the food bank and special surprise musical guests.
