As Long As We Speak Their Names: Celebrating the Day of the Dead

Join us as we celebrate Día de los Muertos, the Mexican Day of the Dead, a beautiful tradition of remembering and honoring those who have died. You are invited to bring photographs or mementos of departed loved ones as we create space to share their memories and celebrate the lives that have touched our own.

Through a Unitarian Universalist lens, we will explore how our loved ones remain part of our world long after they are gone. The energy that animated them and the elements that formed their bodies continue their journey, becoming part of the earth, water, and air that sustain us. Their stories live on in our hearts, their wisdom in our minds, and their influence in the lives we lead.

As long as we speak their names, they are never entirely gone. The Chalice Choir will sing during this service.
