Living Into the Living System

So many of us want to make positive change in our lives, our families, our communities, our world. But sometimes the forces of inertia and “the way it’s always been done” makes it feel like the system is conspiring against us. With inspiration from gardens, nature, mystics, and radical systems thinkers, we were invited to reframe the ways we create change and “live in” to the living systems that surround us.

This service was written by Rev. Sarah Gibb Millspaugh. Rev. Millspaugh has experience as a parish minister, curriculum developer, and lay leader. She also  serves on the UUA Mosaic Team, which is creating and curating resources for anti-racist/anti-oppressive/multicultural transformation in our congregations.

Our previously planned service, a visit from author Tyler Bieber about his new biography of Father Tom Oddo, has been postponed. We will be working with Tyler to reschedule his visit to RVUUF for a future date.
