Ableism: Claiming the Worth and Dignity of Persons with Disabilities

The Inherent Worth and Dignity of Every Person is the first of the UU principles. In this service we will explore the Unitarian Universalist commitment to this principle through personal reflections from members of the congregation living with disabilities. Their stories of challenge, misunderstanding, and resilience invite us to deepen our understanding of how Ableism works in the world and how we might help create a truly inclusive community of belonging.
