Please plan to come to the Annual Meeting of Oregon UU Voices for Justice, October 14th (Saturday), at Eugene’s UUCE, 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM. This year’s theme is “Connecting Communities for Justice”. Our “keynote” speakers are Rev. Alison Miller, of First Unitarian Church in Portland, and Dr. Brenda Smith, of High Desert Partnership, based in Harney County. Focus for group action planning will include several topics under each of the statewide group’s “umbrellas”: Deepening Democracy, Economic Inequality, Environmental Justice, and Human Rights. The meeting is free and so is lunch, but please register so that room sizes and supplies
