Part of our mission is to get people connected to each other – build community and empower connection.  More than at any other time in our lives people are worried about each other.

We may want to know how others in our fellowship are doing.  As members of RVUUF, we all should be encouraged to stay in touch with friends.  That is what lifts up the meaning of being a fellowship. If you are thinking of someone in the fellowship and wondering how they are doing, give that person a call.  Our members share their contact information in Breeze, our online church database.

One of the ways that RVUUF supports members of the fellowship is through pastoral care.  With a church our size, pastoral care becomes more of a shared ministry.  It is also important to be mindful that pastoral care is confidential.  Anyone in a pastoral care relationship with the minister rightly expects the discussions shared to be confidential.

It is a tricky balancing act.  We want people to let us know if members need help.  Still, in respecting privacy and dignity, it is our intention that those affected should be the ones who initiate discussion of their needs.  We think the best way to stay connected is the person-to-person relationship.  We hope members of RVUUF will reach out to one another.

Here is how you can find fellow RVUUFians in Breeze:  go to  https://rvuuf.breezechms.com then enter your sign-in credentials.  Once on the Breeze site, click on the “People” icon.  The next page should present all of the folks associated with RVUUF in alphabetical order.  Click on someone you would like to call and their contact information will come up on your screen. You may also search for a particular person by name, using the search bar in the top right corner of the page.
