How Peggy Saved the Day:

Peggy Murphy and her husband Glen Johnston moved to Ashland last December and immediately became weekly volunteers for our Thursday dinners at OHRA. Peggy recently sent me a text saying, “Just making sure there isn’t an error on my calendar. I don’t have anything written down to bring to the shelter on June 1. Is that correct?”  OMG! I hadn’t planned a dinner for June 1. I’d skipped right over it and started the menus on June 8. I scrambled and put together the easiest dinner possible: Stouffers mac and cheese. Disaster averted. Thanks, Peggy!   And thanks to EVERYONE who clicks the link and takes a job they can do comfortably. Try it: click here to see upcoming menus and tasks.
