OHRA held a Volunteer Appreciation event last month and a few of the RVUUF volunteers who help with Thursday dinners attended. RVUUF was enthusiastically thanked for our service. Guests appreciate the home cooked meals, and equally importantly, the support from the community. Volunteer Alan Hersch attended and pointed out to me how great this exposure is for RVUUF. Our participation is positive, authentic publicity for our own fellowship – as we do the work that is part of our UU principles.
