Options for Homeless Residents of Ashland (OHRA) is RVUUF’s third-Sunday offering recipient for Sunday, April 15. OHRA is “dedicated to helping our most vulnerable residents with the most basic of human needs – shelter.”
OHRA operates the Ashland Community Resource Center, located at 611 Siskiyou Blvd, Unit 4, in Ashland (next to Safeway). Hours are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays. There, staff and volunteers strive to give homeless and-low income residents of Ashland opportunities to improve their situations and to leave poverty and homelessness behind.” RVUUF has been a solid partner of OHRA’s since the opening of the ACRC more than four years ago.
Leigh Madsen, director of the ACRC, will present on behalf of OHRA. He will share a couple of stories of people whose lives have benefited from the community support found at the ACRC. RVUUF’s continued support of OHRA is profoundly appreciated by the OHRA Board and staff.
