September at RVUUF will offer multiple opportunities for members and friends to gain deeper connections and meaningful relationships that I hope you’ll consider. Watching News to Note is one way to find out about all the opportunities.
The first opportunity to tell you about is the invitation to join a nine-month class with Rev. Cat Cox, who has been working with RVUUF members for two years on collaborative covenant-based communication. Her skill and expertise in teaching this work, which takes much practice, has had a positive and transformative impact on RVUUF members. So far, around 30 people have either taken a six-week class or a nine-month class in the last two years and many have sought out Cat’s wisdom privately working with her one-on-one.
This is your chance to join a class beginning Sept. 20 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. via Zoom video conferencing. This class will meet every third Tuesday at the 6 to 7:30 p.m. time. The cost is $60, which amounts to about $6 a session that each last an hour and a half. Scholarship is offered if you let Rev. Nan know of your circumstances.
If you want to sign up, please email Rev. Nan at minister@rvuuf.org by Aug. 31. Payment will be due by Aug. 31 too. Make your check payable to RVUUF and write in the memo line “Cat’s class” and drop it in the offering plate or mail it to 87 Fourth St., Ashland, OR 97520.
Rev. Cat can have as many as 23 people on a Zoom video call. People who have never taken a class get first privileges so don’t hesitate to get your name on the list soon. The class is also offered to people who have taken a class with Rev. Cat too.
A second opportunity will be an invitation to join a Soul Matters circle. Watch News to Note and the RVUUF website for more information about Soul Matters circles and how to sign up. The Soul matters circle will begin the month of October.
