Nan’s News: More than $145,000 in pledges

A celebration of gratitude for all who made a pledge to the future of RVUUF was experienced last Sunday, with delicious cakes too! The report of more than $145,000 in pledges so far is deeply appreciated. The request to pledge will continue for those of you who have not done so, by turning your pledge card in this week.

Sunday I had requests for the closing words I used and I share them with you here. They are written by Rev. John Morgan:

“In the end it won’t matter how much we have
but how generously we have given.
It won’t matter how much we know,
but rather how well we live.
And it won’t matter how much we believe,
but rather how deeply we love.
In this community, we give and receive.
May we go forth, now, to share the bounty of our love.”

Thank you all for your generosity and sharing your gratitude for each other as you continue to decide to pledge to RVUUF’s bright future.
