Members of the RVUUF’s Anti-Racism team invite you into their Advancing Racial Justice book reading circle held on the second Thursday of each month.

Our next gathering will be Thursday, 7/9/2026, 6 to 7:30pm, at RVUUF under the balcony in our great hall. We will be discussing America 250: Through the Lens of Black American History by Mike Green.

America 250: Through the Lens of Black American History invites readers to see the American story with deeper clarity, tracing the powerful, often overlooked struggle to make freedom real for everyone.

Through vivid storytelling, historical insight, and moral urgency, Mike Green presents the three great American revolutions—Independence, Emancipation, and the Negro Revolution—as chapters in an ongoing journey toward a more just society. The question is no longer whether history shapes the present. It is whether we will shape the future with the knowledge we now hold.”
