Dear RUUFians,

Thank you so much for your abundant caring and condolences upon the death of my wife, Jean Crawford.  Daughter Janel and son-in-law Jody join me in gratitude.  Some of you have asked about a memorial event.  Jean’s instructions to us were as follows:  “I do not want a funeral or other formal memorial service held in my memory.  I request  instead that my family and close friends gather for a meal and remind each other of great times we have had.”   We will honor her request.  She also penned this additional note:  “Do something to make the world beautiful–you choose.”  We will honor that request, too.
