Fear must not determine our steps forward

The aftermath of Sunday’s horrific event in Orlando impacts all of us to grieve and mourn the loss of life, and we must not let fear determine our steps forward. May our courage remind us to not let fear become the decider of how we live our lives. As a people who promote peace and justice, compassion and empathy, let’s begin with ourselves strengthening our belief that even in the midst of death there is life, and in the midst of fear there is courage. Drawing from our principles can empower our resolve to live our lives offering love, especially in the midst of hate. Live your days with love.
