PRESENTED BY ROGUE VALLEY INTERFAITH SOCIAL JUSTICE COALITION
Monday March 9, 6:00 to 7:30 PM at the Ashland United Methodist Church (Laurel and N. Main) across from Briscoe
Guest speaker: Rouge Valley UU Fellowship member Julie Gillis of Rogue Action Center De-Escalation Team
March 9 Meeting of Rogue Valley Interfaith Social Justice Coalition will focus on Countering White Nationalism: A discussion of how we can address the growing movement of white nationalism in our valley and our state. Join us for a engaging discussion of possible collaborative actions for justice.
The Interfaith Movement for Immigrant Justice and Western States Center are sponsoring a spring cohort program for countering white nationalism with a statewide interfaith focus. Here in Jackson county we hope to lead a discussion of how we might take action locally to address this issue. Julie Gillis who is on the De-Escalation Team with the Rogue Action Center and works on Anti-Hate campaigns will be present at our March 9 meeting to share the amazing local work that we might engage both locally and with the statewide cohort effort.
