New member classes for Spring 2017

Twice a year, fall and spring, RVUUF offers orientation classes for people who are interested in becoming a member of RVUUF. The next series of classes begin March 5, 2017.

Dealing with Trump-supporting relatives

Thanksgiving holiday office closure

The RVUUF offices will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 24, and Friday, Nov. 25 in observation of the Thankskgiving Holiday. There will be an early deadline of before 9 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 21, for News to Note submissions and Order of Worship information.

‘Loving does not let go’

At Braver/Wiser, Rev. Robin Tanner expresses the sentiment that “Holding on does not come easy to me. Leaving, escaping, is “a privilege that can kill — and loving does not let go.” Braver/Wiser offers a weekly written reflection by a contemporary UU religious leader and brief prayer grounded in Unitarian Universalism.

RVUUF’s Religious Explorations youth will soon assemble kits of useful items for adults who seek refuge at Ashland’s Pioneer Hall homeless shelter.
