SJ&A to meet on second Thursdays

Beginning Thursday, Feb. 8, RVUUF’s Social Justice and Action Committee will meet on the second Thursday of each month, rather than the third. This committee meets from 4 to 5 p.m. at Emerson House. Use RVUUF’s contact form to connect with the Social Justice and Action Committee.

UUSC responds to State of the Union Address

President Trump’s State of the Union address was yet another example of his factually inaccurate and divisive rhetoric. He exploited families’ tragedy to push for a ruthless, anti-family immigration policy that is rooted in a white supremacy agenda. Here are some of the areas—among many—we at UUSC see as profoundly problematic in the President’s address.

Audio-file editing help needed

Sunday services, February 2018

Here’s a look at services taking place in February 2018. The Soul Matters theme for the month is “Perseverance.” Services take place at 10:30 a.m. each Sunday in RVUUF’s Great Hall. Gathering music begins at 10:25 a.m.

Women’s March Southern Oregon

RVUUF’s Social Justice in Action team is planning to attend the “Women’s March Southern Oregon,” taking place on Saturday, Jan. 20, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Hawthorne Park, 501 E. Main St. in Medford.

MLK Day observances planned
