The RVUUF Board of Directors has appointed Bridget Whitehead to be the new co-chair of Social Justice and Action. Diane Werich left the position to assume the Presidency of the RVUUF Board and Bridget agreed to add her considerable skills and talents to the work of Justice in our congregation. Congratulations, Bridget!
For the “Homeless Sabbath,” 10:25 a.m. on Sunday, July 29, attendees are asked to bring toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, hygiene products (tampons, pads), combs, brushes, shampoos, hand/body lotion, cotton swabs, lip balm, sunscreen, wet wipes … and “all those other things you can think of that might make a homeless day easier.”

RVUUF would like to invite all members and nonmembers to start their Spring cleaning a bit late and donate whatever they can, for a Jumble/Rummage sale to be held Saturday, Aug. 25.
RVUUF’s Welcome and Administration Offices will be closed on Wednesday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day.

“Great Decisions,” moderated by Dave Baker, will meet for its final discussion of the year at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 28, under the balcony at RVUUF. The topic for this meeting is “Global Health.”
An artist reception for Leslie Dwyer takes place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday, June 24, in the RVUUF Gallery. Please plan to stay after the service to visit with Leslie and learn about her inspiration, her process, and her message.
