“Chalica” begins Dec. 1

The Unitarian Universalist holy days/holidays ritual, known as Chalica, begins Dec. 1. In your home for seven days, light a chalice, read one of the seven UU principles and then reflect throughout the day how that particular principle was manifested in your life. At the end of the day you would then share your thoughts and experiences with loved ones. I encourage you and your families or friends to practice this ritual that focuses on one UU principle a day for seven days. If you’d like to know more about how this new tradition began in 2005 within Unitarian Universalism, you can go to http://www.uua.org/worship/holidays/chalica.
