Looking for a way to support Ashland’s Pioneer Hall homeless shelter? The shelter will open in mid-November, and RVUUF’s Religious Explorations youth will assemble kits of useful items for the adults who will be sheltered there.
The “Time for All Ages” (a special time during services before children are released to their classes) resumes this Sunday with RVUUF’s observance of the Water Communion. An exhibit of student artwork is on display in RVUUF’s Great Hall, and will remain for at least three weeks. The students’ creative work includes artistic expressions of the UU Seven Principles, the Divine Feminine, a recent service project for animals and more. Religious Explorations raised more than $105 through a spare-change money drive. The purpose of the spare-change campaign was to finance a service project.
