A huge thank you to everyone who stayed after coffee hour last Sunday to help assemble zines for protecting immigrants’ rights and establishing community action to protect those most at risk.
About a dozen wonderful people stayed after the service cutting, folding, and assembling about 100 zines, most of which have already been distributed by a RVUUF member at the vigil for Alex Pretti in the plaza that same day.
It was also a wonderful opportunity for folks to chat and get to know each other, turning activism into fun. The Social Justice and Action Committee will hold another workshop after service on a date to be decided, so keep your eyes open for that!
