As Unitarian Universalists we take great pride in our ability to think. During the Aug. 9 service, three members of RVUUF’s sangha (Buddhist Meditation Group) will address why lots of UU thinkers are “going out of their minds” by meditating regularly together. What drew them to meditation? What does the Buddhist path look like? How is it changing their lives? Annette Lewis, Carole Hesse and Jim Bronson will give an overview of the Buddhist philosophy and share why they meet with others, UU and drop-ins, every week to meditate and discuss the Buddhist path.
