Artist’s Reception for Toni DeMello, Sun, Dec 22, 2019 After Worship in the RVUUF Gallery

Toni DeMello is a longtime resident of the Greensprings. She began drawing on a whim about 16 years ago and hasn’t stopped. She started using pastels in 2003 and has been obsessed with creating ever since, and now uses acrylics.

Toni has not had any formal art training. She loves to use her hands and other tools such as combs and sticks. She finds joy in working with colors, and animals are her favorite subject matter. She does about 20 commissions a year for owners of pets. Her spontaneous and expressive work can also be seen at the Wild Goose Cafe where she has worked for 19 years.

Toni’s work is currently hanging in the RVUUF gallery. Join the Aesthetics Committee for a reception (with cake!) after worship on the 22nd.
