Artist exhibit, “A Thousand Times ‘I Love You’”

Adrienne Kimmy’s “A Thousand Times ‘I Love You’” is on display through Sept. 13 in the RVUUF Gallery. A reception will be held Sunday, July 24, immediately following the service.

The installation features 1,000 rainbow-colored origami paper cranes, accompanied by printed images that document the process.

According to this week’s “News to Note,” the work represents a year-long journey of self-discovery, courage and love.

“The artist reflects, ‘What began as an act of devotion to the woman I loved, became the chrysalis which transformed me into a more alive and loving human being.’”
