Have you driven down south Stage Road in Medford from Highway 99 to Kings Highway? Were you aware that section of the highway is adopted by RVUUF?
For many years we’ve removed litter from the side of that road, twice a year. The pandemic put a hold on our highway cleanup work, but now we’re hoping to continue the project. This will be the final attempt to determine the interest the congregation has in continuing this project.
This is a great opportunity for members (youth included) to provide a public service, improve the appearance of the county road system, and get some exercise. We are looking for members, friends, and neighbors who are interested in being on the Litter Patrol on a Saturday in May (TBD).
New volunteers need to be physically able to walk two miles while bending and stooping, sign a waiver, view a Safety Training DVD, and posses sturdy leather shoes and gloves. A sign-up sheet will be available after the service on Sunday April 26, 2026 to determine interest.
