Beloved RVUUFians,

I know many of you have left messages and sent emails this week that went unanswered and/or responses to those were delayed. I do apologize, but I have been out of the office and mostly unavailable due to a major plumbing issue that caused significant flooding on both floors of my home. Pretty much the entire center of my house has been demolished.

I came home from RVUUF last Friday to the sound of pouring water everywhere and inches of water on both floors of my townhouse. So, I have been juggling restoration and demolition crews while simultaneously packing and moving most of my belongings into a temporary storage pod, unexpectedly. It is what it is and we will be fine. It’s just taken all my attention and energy this week. I have homeowner’s insurance and they are being very responsive, so I anticipate being able to return to the office on a regular schedule next week. The recovery process from this event will be multi-staged, so I should be better able to be present moving forward.

A few RVUUFians are aware and have very kindly reached out to offer assistance. Thank you so much. I just happen to live in Medford and packing and emptying my house was the priority, which I have mostly accomplished with the assistance of local friends. But, please know how much your kindness is appreciated and if I can think of any specific assistance needed as I move forward, I will be sure to reach out to those who have offered. Thank you again.
