Sustainble Development Accelerator
Dream a brighter future together
According to the latest Sustainable Development Report human civilization is on course towards multiple planetary crises. To remedy this the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions
Network has called for a Sustainable Development Goals Stimulus to put human civilization back on track toward Universal Human Rights for all by making targeted investments into particular sectors of the economy that protect People, Planet, Prosperity, Peace and Partnership.
On May 18th @ 1300-1400 in the conference room of the Rogue Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship – I’ll be launching an opportunity to connect minds and hearts in a collaborative and
(hopefully) fun way to explore these deep inter-connected issues, raise awareness and learn skills that can carry over into one’s professional and personal lives.
The SDA aims to gamify a task-oriented approach to transforming our world by transforming our selves and community. We will role-play as the members of the Board of Directors of a Charitable
Foundation that will be tasked with making investments (with imaginary funds) into the Organizations in our local community that are already engaged in Sustainable Development Activities thereby empowering and accelerating progress towards desired outcomes.
Anchored in the “real-world” values, behaviors, leadership and operating principles one would expectof a Board of Directors managing large investments without the pressure and risk of using “real-world” money. Thereby bringing together people of shared values to dream a brighter future in alignment with
the guidance of global experts as set forth by the Sustainable Development Goals and the Six Transformations.
Bring your highest aspirations for the future of our planet – and our local community – and be prepared to learn and grow together in a collaborative atmosphere with the other members of your TEAM.
