AshlandClimate.org’s project, “Neighborhood Climate Action Network“, will have a table in the RVUUF lobby on Sunday, Jan 14, at 10am before the service. They’re looking for volunteers to help host neighborhood potlucks, which connect neighbors while discussing environmental issues.
“We just completed our pilot year and we’re hoping to get new climate clubs established in 2024. Our program is definitely about deeds, plus participants get to know their neighbors by meeting almost monthly and discussing how to best address climate change.”
