RVUUFian’s Play About the Last Days of Bonhoeffer Performed in NY

RVUUFian Thomas Romano writes:

A play I wrote about the last days of German theologian dissident Dietrich Bonhoeffer awaiting his execution at the hands of the Nazis, April, 1945 was performed in New York earlier this year. In the show, Bonhoeffer has a lot of conversations with people he has known in his life in his prison cell. He was part of an assassination to kill Adolf Hitler. It was the most famous assassination attempt, nicknamed “Operation Valkyrie.” The play was well-received by the audience, and both performances I attended the theater was full. In all, there were six performances. The play went from “off-off Broadway” last November to “Off Broadway,” in April, 2023.

Congratulations, Tom!
