Gratitude for Native Woman Share Donations

We are grateful for the donations made by this congregation during our Third Sunday offering in January to Native Woman Share.  $160.00 was collected.

What is Native Woman Share? Originally named Womanshare, what began as a radical project to hold safe haven for lesbian women in the woods during the 1970’s until today has lovingly been acquired and evolved into a matriarchal space that now invites the original stewards, Native and Queer BIPoC women and Two-Spirit people, as they thrive and reclaim their land-based culture. We are holding space for the many various visiting Indigenous tribes of BIPoC diaspora while honoring the Tribes native to this land: the Takelma, Galice, Klamath, Shasta, Latgawa and so on. We are especially honoring Grandmother Agnes Baker Pilgrim and the Takelma and neighboring tribes of this land. Our intention is to continue learning and invite everyone to join in supporting this decolonizing healing center. Bianca Fox Del Mar Ballara and Lycan El Lobo Coss are two-spirit women founders of Native Woman Share.
