Looking for adventuresome, healthy people who want to contribute to our unhoused community by preparing meals in the roomy, safe, hygienic kitchen at the Winter Shelter in Ashland. It’s enjoyable, not difficult, and satisfying to work with 2 or 3 others to prepare “to go” boxes and breakfast bags for the 40 guests at the shelter.

There is also a role for those of you who don’t want to work inside the shelter. We need contributions of food for meals planned by our kitchen volunteers. You can contact Vida Taylor 360-903-4303 or Jerry Nutter 541-890-4149 to find out what is needed, and when to drop it off at the shelter.
