Winter is a great time to learn how to knit or crochet!  It keeps your hands busy, lowers anxiety – and you end up with a warm garment!  The yarn service team can help you via video and loan/give you some tools to start out.  A simple scarf or shawl can really brighten a friend’s heart!  And if you have neighbors or local friends who are needing warmth and have no $ to buy it, contact us.  We work year-round to create warmth for our neighbors in need, of all ages, via agencies and one-on-one.  If you can’t make a difference for them with your own skills, we’ll tell you what yarn to buy and we’ll turn it into a wonderful neighborly gift.
